Dylan AM 2/7/20 hydro car 60+ minutes
What was my Goal for today?
- Install fuel cell
- Continue on next step of building car
How well did I achieve that?
- Turns out the white plastic fat connection got hurt somehow
- We think that some time when we tried to saw the end off
What problems did I face?
- The connection was destroyed, it didn't fit right
- We changed out the fuel cell, sanded down the sides, and made sure not to break the connection.
- It doesn't screw down because screw doesn't sit flush.
What I'm doing next
- Screwing the fuel cell down
- Solving the screw length problem

Christopher - AM - 30 mins - TinkerCad and Python
During the beginning of the lab I tried placing the rudder rail through the large hole. After trying for a couple of minutes, it was no use. And because of this, I slightly increased the size of the hole. The other side, however, does fit perfectly. I didn't print the model today.
For the remainder of openlab, I worked on python code. What I was working on was putting all the scripts I created together. Right now there's a primary menu where a person can access the calculators (wage calculator and the normal the calculator). I then added the lucky number game code.
Ultimately, I refined the program to reduce the amount of bugs and errors. The program is now 200 lines long and I plan to expand it.
Michelle - AM - 50 mins - Catching up Labs and Figuring out error
I was catching up on work that I missed on Tuesday since I had to go to a court order. I was able to finish all the labs but I still can't lab #5 working for conditionals. I've tried to change the coding using these website but I always get a syntax error on except line.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46380181/how-to-use-try-except-statement-in-python-to-handle-non-numeric-inputshttps://docs.python.org/2/tutorial/errors.html
I've tried to break down the problem from seeing any issues from the first line to the end line. From there, I was able to fix or add any code necessary but I still don't understand what the exact error. I've tried to:
1. Define my variables
2. Make sure that the lines correlate with each other
