Saul - PM - worked on Printer destruction

Worked on taking the printers apart...

Blog post 8/28

Today during our open lab, I took apart a new printer and got 5 new circuit boards. I spent the whole hour doing this because i couldnt find a screw driver that wouldnt strip my screws for about 10 mins.

Cindy Tran PM

In open lab today,  I worked on the design and measurements for the tardis closet, played around with tikercad, and partly took apart a printer.

I found a new switch, when I were working on my second printer.
During open lab hour, i received help with the worksheet, joined Lupa's dog dispenser team, and helped take apart a printer.
15 mins finishing up the printers loots part even cleaning and putting the tools away then 3 mins to do my job that was on the list then do 8 mins doing Tinker then 4 mins putting the loot away and go home.

Maya-PM-1 hour-Robot Club

First I had to finish the flow chart worksheet handed out in class and I helped a few other people with it. I decided to try and do the Tardis project for robot club, so today I brainstormed the execution of the Tardis and then measured the cabinet so we could start figuring out where to put the foam and where we could hide sensors or a little speaker for the music. I figured out what parts had to be foam and what we could paint. I did my daily job, then I worked on this blog post.

5 minuets on the flow chart paper and then 50 minuets on the printer then 5 minuets on tinkercad

timothy - pm - 1 hour - printers

I spent the hour working on taking down the printers and i am pretty much finished with the printer i was working on.

Kyle Todd - PM - 45 min - What I did today

I worked on taking apart a printer today and managed to find the motor of the photocopier and see how it works. I also finished my job of cutting out new Ohm resistors for later classes and help around the class.

my udemy had no free button i worked on getting notes on ohms law.

Ali - Am - 20 min - found Udemy, inscrutable and thought about Robots

Today I learned in Fluke websites about digital multimeter. I tooked lesson 1. And also I tried the udemy websites to get a free course but it doesn't give me a free price.

Michelle- AM - 10 mins - Picking a course on Instructables

In Instructables, I was looking into any guide to using ardiuno for beginners like me. While I saw many great projects that involved the ardiuno, I was interested into a course that teaches me the basic concepts and uses. This title hit me because just reading it made it seem like what I needed which was "A Beginner's Guide to Ardiuno." I skimmed through the course and reading the few areas of that site, it had a clear explanation of what an arduino is and their uses (based on what I read so far).

For Udemy, I still don't have a free button so I can't find a free course in their site.

Theodore- AM - 10 - Instructables and Udemy classes

Today during Open Lab time I found a few things that caught my interest. The first one was an Arduino Powered Headress  which I thought looked pretty cool because it reminds me of Daft Punk with their crazy LED changing helmets that I always wanted to learn how to make.
The second project I found was this Arduino Data Smart Glasses which is an interesting product that I think would be fun to build and which could also be used for different applications as well. The last thing I found was a 2W Arduino laser Engraver/ Cutter which I think could be useful for when making certain parts of a robot or for just making precise cut outs of templates.

Jazmin AM 10min. udemy and instructables

I do not have a free check box.

My instructable class is https://www.instructables.com/id/Im-Not-a-Robot-Instructables-Robot/ .

Christopher - AM - 20 mins - Udemy and Instructables

On Udemy I was searching for robots and Python courses, but when I went to the filters, there was no free button. So instead, I went on Instructables looking for classes. When I was looking, I decided to learn about solar panel construction. I didn't really dive deep into this topic, but the introductory paragraph said that I needed to calculate how much power I want to generate and so on.

Julian-AM-20min-found udemy and looked up robots

I found a video on basic of robotics on udemy. In the video i learned a bit about ardunio which uses a simplified version of C++. I also learned what the ports and pins do on an ardunio. On the actual ardunio there are labels on it to show what each thing does such as the micro controller.

Connor Agu-AM 15 min Choosing classes in Udemy and Instructables

The last 15 minutes of class I chose my classes for the two online classed Udemy and Indestructible.
On Indestructible I chose the class in the automotive section on how to flush break fluid using a pressure bleeder.https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Flush-Brake-Fluid-Using-a-Pressure-Bleeder/

Dylan AM 10 FlukeDMM, found Udemy Course

I found the top rated free arduino course on Udemy,
https://www.udemy.com/course/arduino-workshop-step-by-step-guide/

Did a lesson on the Fluke MultiMeter course, and took a quiz on it.

Karson-AM-10 mins. found an instrustable class about building and programing a robot spider and read through it

I found an istructable class that explains the material used for this project. They showed a video on how it works. They showed steps on how to build this project. They used computer programs and a circuit board and some 3D printed parts o build this.

tried to delete Microsoft Dynamics 365 --> couldn't find how to

Brandon Smith - AM - 20 - Brainstormed science projects Ideas

I was brainstorming ideas for a science fair project. I think I came up with a good concept. I want to design an unmanned mission to another celestial body. I'm thinking an atmospheric Venus probe or maybe a lander on one of Saturn's moons. I want to do everything including calculating the trajectory, picking the right launch vehicle, designing the space craft itself, maybe build a prototype, figure out how it'll talk to earth, all of that stuff. I can even simulate the mission in Kerbal Space Program as long as I have realism overhaul installed.

I also enrolled in a fluid dynamics Udemy class, I want my spacecraft to enter an atmosphere, And I think this would be helpful for the heat shield design

Diego - AM - 10 mins - Raspberry Pi Emulator Console

Today I went on instructables and I learned how to install Retro Pi on the Raspberry Pi. Retro Pi is an emulator that you can download online then burn it on a micro SD card. Next you plug in the the SD card to the Raspberry Pi. You can also install it manually by coding on to the Raspberry Pi. Then you install ROMS onto the Raspberry Pi by inserting a flash drive with games.

Nathanielle - AM - 10min- Looked for classes in Udemy and Instructables

I still can't find my free button for Udemy so I only looked for an Instructables. The Instructable class I picked was the Arduino class and the rest of the time I started to look at the class and what I am going to learn.

Ivan-AM-20-explored classes to enroll in Instructables and Udemy

Today i spent my 20 minutes of free lab time searching for a class to enroll in. I finally found a circuit board design class that looks interesting and related to what we are learning. The link for that class is https://www.instructables.com/class/Circuit-Board-Design-Class/. I also found an arduino class, the link for that is https://www.instructables.com/class/Arduino-Class/. When I went on to the the Udemy website i was looking for free classes. All of the classes i saw were $9.99 and there was no free option button in sight. Hopefully next time I visit this website I'll figure it out or someone else will.

Rikzin - AM - 10 minutes - Finished calculations

Today I finished the calculations for my calculated resistance, it turns out that I calculated the wrong thing, but in the end it still counted because the principles were still the same. To find the calculation for the calculated resistance I divided the measured volts by the measured current in amps.

Austin Latour-AM 20 minutes of Exploring Udemy and Instructables

For the twenty minutes given in class to explore Udemy and Instructables classes. I found some interesting classes on Instructables, some of which I have enrolled. I have enrolled in an Arduino class https://www.instructables.com/class/Arduino-Class/ and a circuit board design class, https://www.instructables.com/class/Circuit-Board-Design-Class/.  I also enrolled in a beginners 3D printing class in Instructables: https://www.instructables.com/class/Beginner-3D-Printing-Class/. I hope get something out of these classes. I did not find any free classes on Udemy that appealed to me, maybe with more time exploring the platform I will eventually find something that interests me, also the free button in Udemy does not work for me yet.

Kylie Townsend - AM - 15 - Found robots on Instructables

Went on Instructables and Udemy and picked which classes I was interested in. I found a class on Instructables where I could build a robot that could draw a picture. Found a class on Udemy that could teach me how to program robots using HTML, Java, NODE, and Python with PTZOptics cameras.

Trey Phillips - AM - 20 min - found Udemy/Instructables Classes

Today I went through Udemy and looked for a free arduino basics course, after looking through a lot of low rated ones, I found one that seemed to cover most of the basics with multiple lessons to cover even some more advanced items. I then looked at instructables to try and find a course that would allow me to implement some 3-D printed designs into circuitry and make them more automated. I found a very simple course that, after closer inspection, showed that it would only cover simple movement and LED implementation, but I think I can use these skills as a stepping stone to some experimentation with implementing circuits into 3-D designs.

Connor - AM - 10 min - Found Udemy and Instructables Class

I enrolled in two classes that I found interesting today. On the Udemy website, I enrolled in the "Learn Guitar in 21 Days" class (https://www.udemy.com/course/learn-guitar-in-21-days/). For the Instructables website, I enrolled in the arduino class (https://www.instructables.com/class/Arduino-Class/). I found the guitar class interesting because I recently started trying to learn how to play guitar and this will help me get ahead. I found the arduino class interesting because there are many projects that I would like to be able to do, and the arduino is the base for most projects.

Raymond Linton-Kirton PM Lab Work

Today, I helped my teammate Kyle take apart the printer that we were working on. The problem was that we were not getting into the actually printer, but expect were taking about the outside plastic parts instead. We tried multiple times to try to take apart the main frame of the printer so we could get into the where the motors and boards were.

Jerico-PM-3:00-Working on Scrapping Printer

For the Half hour, I disassembled Another 15-20% of the Printer and snagged myself Two more motors, two drive shaft, A handful of gears, a ribbed drive belt, and an ink assembly spray?

hay it is me Michael Hartley and i sign up for a c++ class on udemy and didnt get a class on instructables
Hai I'm Anthony Mark Alaniz Buccat but Short is....Anthony and I will Sign up a C++ Class

8/21/19

Today on Udemy I signed up for a class that would teach me the basics of learning Java Script. On Instuctables I signed up for an Arduino class that would teach me/show me how to use an Aduino. An Arduino is a small computer that can be talked to. For the 30 minute lab Jon and I both took apart some printers and mainly took out motors that could be used in future projects.

Kyle Todd - PM - 30 min - worked on Printer

Today I work a half-hour on disassembling our printers and to see what makes them work. I started to remove the outer plastic layers with my partner Raymond and we started to uncover the circuit boards and wires that help power it and make it work properly. I also got registered for Udemy and Instructables earlier in the class.
